Applicable fees may include, among others:

- Chargeback fees
- Equipment fees
- Batch fees
- Account or service fees
- Other processor or service-provider fees
Any applicable pricing and fees will be disclosed through the applicable merchant agreement, processing agreement, proposal, application, or other documentation.
5. Merchant Responsibilities
By using our Services, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information.
- Keep your business and contact information current.
- Comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
- Comply with applicable card-network rules and requirements.
- Use payment-processing services only for the business activities disclosed during underwriting.
- Maintain appropriate records relating to transactions.
- Take reasonable measures to protect customer payment information.
- Promptly notify the applicable provider of suspected fraud, unauthorized transactions, or security incidents.
- Not use the Services for activities that are prohibited by the applicable processor, acquiring bank, card networks, or applicable law.
6. Prohibited Activities
You may not use the Services for unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, or unauthorized activities.
Prohibited activities may include, but are not limited to:
- Fraudulent transactions
- Money laundering
- Transactions involving stolen payment information
- Unauthorized use of another person’s payment card
- Illegal goods or services
- False or misleading representations
- Transactions that violate applicable card-network rules
- Circumvention of processor or acquiring-bank restrictions
- Processing transactions for undisclosed businesses or activities
The applicable processor or acquiring bank may impose additional prohibited-business restrictions.
7. Chargebacks and Disputes
Merchants are responsible for complying with applicable chargeback and dispute procedures.
A merchant may be responsible for chargebacks, refunds, reversals, fees, and other amounts associated with transactions processed through its merchant account.
The applicable processor or acquiring bank may debit such amounts from the merchant’s account, reserve, or other funds in accordance with the applicable merchant agreement.
8. Reserves and Account Holds
Depending on the merchant’s business type, processing history, transaction volume, chargeback exposure, or risk profile, the applicable processor or acquiring bank may establish a reserve, rolling reserve, delayed funding arrangement, transaction limit, or other risk-control measure.
Such requirements are generally determined by the applicable processor or acquiring bank and may change based on the merchant’s processing activity and risk profile.
9. Account Suspension or Termination
PayingSource or the applicable processor, acquiring bank, or financial institution may suspend or terminate Services if:
- The merchant violates applicable agreements or policies.
- Fraudulent or suspicious activity is suspected.
- Required information is not provided.
- The merchant engages in prohibited activities.
- The merchant presents unacceptable financial or processing risk.
- Required payments or fees are not paid.
- The applicable processor, acquiring bank, card network, or financial institution requires termination.
Termination may also be subject to the terms of the applicable merchant-processing agreement.
10. Website Information
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that information presented on PayingSource.com is accurate and current. However, we do not guarantee that all website content will always be complete, accurate, current, or error-free.
